LES ADVERBES EN -MENT

OBSERVEZ

THÉORIE

Les adverbes en -MENT expriment la manière et sont formés de plusieurs façons. 

FORMATION

1. Quand l'adjectif se termine par une consonne on doit prendre la forme du féminin de l'adjectif  et pour former l'adverbe on ajoute -ment. 

Ex:       Essentiel - Essentielle- Essentiellement.  
            Sérieux- Sérieuse- Sérieusement
            Doux - Douce- Doucement
            Lent - Lente- Lentement
  
2. Quand l'adjectif masculin finit par voyelle, on ajoute -ment. 

 Ex:     Poli - Poliment
           Joli - Joliment
           Facile - Facilement

3. Quand l'adjectif masculin se termine par -ent on fait l'adverbe en -emment.

 Ex:   Récent - Récemment
        Fréquent - Fréquemment

4. Quand l'adjectif masculin se termine par - ant on fait l'adverbe en -amment.

 Ex:    Suffisant - Suffisamment
         Courant - Couramment
